The LP3996 is a low-dropout voltage regulator with low quiescent current and in ultra-small package. The LP3996 can deliver output current up to 250mA. It offers different output voltage within 0.7V to 5.2V. The LP3996 is integrated over current protection and short circuit protection in order to protect system abnormal. The output capacitor as small as 0.1µF is good enough for LP3996. The LP3996 is available in 4 pins ultra-small DFN package with only 1mm  1mm size.

The LP3993 performance is optimized for high voltage systems to deliver ultra low noise and low quiescent current. Regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout, further prolonging the input system life. The LP3993 also works with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing the amount of board space necessary for power applications, critical in hand-held wireless devices. The other features include ultra low dropout voltage, high output accuracy, current limiting protection, and high ripple rejection ratio.

The LP3980 is designed for portable RF and wireless applications demanding performance and space requirements. The LP3980 performance is optimized for battery-powered systems to deliver ultra low noise and low quiescent current. Regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout, further prolonging the battery life. The LP3980 also works with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing the amount of board space necessary for power applications, critical in hand-held wireless devices. The LP3980 consumes less than 0.01µA in shutdown mode and has fast turn-on time less than 50µs. The other features include ultra low dropout voltage, high output accuracy, current limiting protection, and high ripple rejection ratio.

■ General Description The LN1121 series are precise, low power consumption, high voltage; positive voltage regulators manufactured using CMOS and laser trimming technologies. The series provides large currents with a significantly small dropout voltage. The LN1121 consists of a current limiter circuit, a driver transistor, a precision reference voltage and an error correction circuit. The series is compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors. The current limiter's feedback circuit also operates as a short protect for the output current limiter and the output pin. Output voltage can be set internally by laser trimming technologies.
